At the Top
How's your Friday going? Mine has been a fruitful one.
I've missed posting yesterday. I hope to catch up in the next few days.
My in-laws are in Dubai for a one-week visit.
Speaking of Dubai and visits. to those who are planning to have a brief stopover, it is a must to drop by
Burj Khalifa. Currently the tallest building in the world at 828 metres (2,716.5 ft)
with more than 160 stories.
The building was designed by the Chicago Office of Skidmore Owings and Merill (SOM) with Adrian Smith as the chief architect of the project. It's a fascinating work of Architecture!
There is an observatory deck for a 360 degree view of the city.
From a distance during the day, you would be able to see the magnificent Palm Jumeirah Island.
Purchase tickets online before you visit due to the big difference in the price if you don't.
General Admission fee for adults is equivalent to AED 100 per person when booked in advance.
For immediate purchase on the day of visit at the lobby, the entrance ticket is AED 400 per person (4x the price online).
So purchase online tickets here
Be sure to be there not later than 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
