World's Largest Shoe Store

Who loves shoes?   The largest shoe store in the world that opened in Dubai yesterday.  Level Shoe District is a 96,000 square feet of specially designed retail space showcasing 250 brands of shoes and everything to pamper the feet - private male and female VIP Lounges, a foot spa and an in-house high-end cobbler.  It is located at Dubai Mall.

One of the highlights is a flagship Louis Vuitton shoe store. A vast array of distinguished foot wear brands and limited editions will be curated.  This metropolis of multi-brand shops was conceptualized by connoisseur of high end luxury- Chalhoub Group and designed by London based interior architects and designers, Shed. There will be shops within a shop for designer brands like  Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Prada and Christian Dior as well as other pieces that have been sourced globally.   There will also be a "sneaker" avenue housing known lifestyle brands.  I can imagine shoe loving men and women spending the day there enjoying the world's largest collection of shoes.

I have a confession to make.  I am not really much into shoes, but I enjoyed the  time lapse video  shared by my  former colleague and friend, Prasanna Pillai who worked on this project-  Level Shoe District construction.

    I love that you are posting more of your local spots. Dubai sounds amazing and exotic and these little virtual trips are fun for me.
