I am extremely inspired by Barbara Barry's design. I am drawn by her design philosophy of simplicity. Her beauty exudes and her femininity extends outwards towards her work. Her design is an emblem of quintessential elegance and sophisticated style.
A bulletin board of all things beautiful.
Her collage of inspiration.
I love her design approach of 'order' and 'calm'.
Poetical Linen
Her design is definitely classic and timeless.
Have a great Christmas Weekend to Everyone!

I was drawn by the warmth and elegant simplicity of this home that would certainly harness creativity during winter time. The personal touches provided a welcoming atmosphere.
I can imagine morning and afternoon coffee in this indoor winter garden extension. The portrait on easel and heritage chandelier transcends drama and romantic charm into the space.
The hint of rouge tea light candle holder, a matching star, plaid throw
and cushion sends subtle "Noel" ambience.
The old refrigerator serves as a statement piece in the dining area.
Rustic bath with candles & potted plant add comfort and warmth
througout the freezing December.
It's definitely the perfect abode for an old soul.

''Pouf '' reminds us of something inflated. A souffle' perhaps? A fluffy ottoman that could easily be moved anywhere bringing comfort to our footsies. It injects 'fun and fabulous' vibes into a space, bringing out the playful side of ourselves, while providing ample seating for an increasing number of guests at our house parties. Firmer and flatter versions could also transform as side tables. Add a serving tray on top et voila!

One of the most fascinating part of the french lifestyle is le jardin potager, the vegetable garden where they plant everything essential in the kitchen to prepare the palate stimulating meals.
Here are some of the images taken in Chateau de Chenonceau in the Loire Valley in France.
Le jardinage or gardening is an inherent part of their culture which could be traced back in history.
They take pride in cultivating crops from herbs to a huge variety of legumes most oftenly surrounded by fruit bearing trees. The family would usually give the house guests a tour of the potager before enjoying an afternoon coffee at the terrace.
Imagine a starter with freshly harvested lettuce and the most plump tomatoes you've ever seen.
A healty organic diet, what more could we ask for?
Have a great weekend everyone! Bisous!
