One of the most exciting things revealed by Pantone before the year end is the Color of the Year for 2011: Honeysuckle (Hot Pink). According to Pantone Color Institute, this spirit uplifting colour is both stimulating and encouraging throughout the exhaustive challenges we face in our everyday lives.

I do admit, it does bring a zest of positive vibe in the psyche within a neutral toned area. It brings courage and confidence to add this colour into your living space.

I'm recently smitten by candlesticks as it is the perfect season to flaunt them. With all the feasting during these consecutive holiday weekends, the dinner party hosts are tempted to elaborately dress up the formal dining.

Overhead lighting is very un- flattering during dinner parties as they are too bright and they cast shadows. Dimmer switch will definitely make it better. Always remember, everyone looks stunning under soft golden light.
