Food and Design Week

I've been missing in action for several days and my apologies for not being able to visit all of your blogs back during this period. I've been swamped with  activities this week-- an on-the-spot apartment make over which is still underway and the Parisian theme baby shower yesterday.

I'm excited to feature this fun baby shower on a post this week. With all the baking and the decorations, lack of sleep, it turned out to be a creative fest of food, color and games. Mini Eiffel Towers popped in the apartment and check out  dragées for the party favors.   We even created a  blog site for the party, where we will post all party photos that the guests can visit and check later.

A brunch at Le Pain Quotidien with friends.  The food blew me away.  Their hot dishes-- Lamb Cassoulet, Meatballs and Flemish Beef Stew were sooo good!

During a trip to  The One Fusion ,  I was attracted by the size and comfort of this L-shaped sofa from their latest collection. However, the apartment comes with some existing furniture that we can't touch nor remove so we have no option but to work around it.  We found the perfect dining chair for the apartment makeover and a trip to Ace Hardware for Clark + Kensington  grey paint for the gallery wall that will match the existing furnishings.

I'm going to catch up on zzzz this weekend.
Have a great  Saturday to you all!

  1. You did a great job on the baby shower, very sweet theme. I'm sure you were busy getting things together. Now time to rest and sip on some tea :)
